The Lookout: Circle Shopping
By
Emily Bratcher
Fast-paced expeditions to buy clothes often end in disastrous purchases, but not always. Power shop your way through lunch hour this Thursday or Friday, and you might win a shopping spree.
Circle Boutique celebrates its third anniversary Thursday, September 20, through Sunday, September 23, with major sales and a big giveaway. The 14th-street retailer is known for selling contemporary fashions from lesser-known labels such as Lover and Karen Walker for women and Band of Outsiders for men. Bonus: Circle Boutique is the only shop in DC to represent Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. collection.
Merchandise will be marked off anywhere from 15 percent to 65 percent. Spend $250 or more, and your name will be entered in a drawing for a $300 shopping spree.
A perfect example of how power shopping pays off.
Circle Boutique, 1736 14th Street, NW; 202-518-2212; Tuesday–Friday noon–7 PM, Saturday 11–7, Sunday noon–6.
