To commemorate the 15th anniversary of Liz Phair’s Exile in Guyville, Pitchfork.tv is showing Phair’s documentary, Guyville Redux—featuring interviews with some of the key players behind the making of the album as well as John Cusack—through Friday.

The Dark Knight media onslaught has begun: Entertainment Weekly had the masked crusader on its cover, with an interesting (and somewhat spoiler-laden) feature story.  The Los Angeles Times, meanwhile, focused on the film’s director, Christopher Nolan.

“Master of fright” Stephen King explained why Hollywood and good horror films are incompatible.

Speaking of horror, the opera version of David Cronenberg’s The Fly had its world premiere in Paris, with Cronenberg directing and Plácido Domingo conducting the orchestra.

“My career is still going strong, exclamation, exclamation!” said a self-deprecating Selma Blair (next seen in this week’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army) in the Los Angeles Times’ Sunday Conversation section.
