This Potomac riverfront estate, built in 2000, has been featured on the Discovery Channel four times. Located in the gated community of Stone Manor, the 18,000-square-foot Colonial has 29 rooms. Among them are six suite bedrooms, a great room with a 27-foot ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows, two kitchens, a library, and an au pair apartment. There is also an exercise room, an 11-seat movie theater, and a game room with arcade games, a pool table, and a ping-pong table. The bar room has an antique, hand-carved mahogany bar from London, and all the chandeliers in the home can be electronically lowered from the ceiling for cleaning.
A computerized monitoring system with 30 touch screens throughout the home controls the security system, temperature, lighting, televisions, and music. There are wireless karaoke microphone outlets throughout the house, and the touch screens give residents access to digital satellite music, a 1,200-CD library, and a MP3 music library with 12,000 songs. The music is played through audio speakers imbedded in the walls.
The home sits on five acres and has a seven-car garage, a heated pool, and a dock with a boat slip.
