A peek inside the world of luxury real estate in Washington.
Where: 4 Leland Court, Chevy Chase Listing Price: $3,875,000 Time on the Market: Three months Bedrooms: Eight Bathrooms: Six
Custom-built nine years ago, this Chevy Chase Colonial features a stone exterior, wrap-around porch, and two-car garage. Inside, there’s a sunny library with large built-in mahogany bookcases, and a family room with a stone fireplace and cherry built-ins. The first-floor kitchen—there’s a separate, smaller kitchen on the lower level—features a walk-in pantry, Shaker-style cabinets, a slate-topped island, and granite counters. Appliances include a six-burner gas cooktop, built-in microwave and convection ovens, SubZero refrigerator, and Bosch dishwasher. Our favorite feature: A cedar-paneled screen porch with stone flooring that opens to the backyard garden.
