Craigslist Treasure Hunt

By Emily Leaman

Our picks for the best furniture finds of the week.

This antique side-by-side cabinet and desk is available for $600 in Reston. The poster says it’s made of tiger oak and has a dark walnut finish. On the left is a small, round curio cabinet with a glass door and five display shelves. On the right, there’s a drop-leaf desk with a drawer and two storage cabinets underneath. The seller says the piece is from the 1920s, and the glass door, beveled mirror, and hardware are all original.

Other good finds:
• Cherry china cabinet for $895
• Drop-leaf end tables for $200
• Blue and red chairs for $75
• Media storage cabinet with glass doors for $70

Thanks, Craig!
