Where: 4 Thompson Circle, NW Listing price: $8,300,000 Time on the market: Six months Bedrooms: Seven Bathrooms: Eight
Built in 1929, this 9,000-square-foot mansion has been renovated by real estate magnate R. Donahue Peebles. It sits on a hilltop near the Naval Observatory and has a terrace with a pond and fountain. Inside, the home has dark wood floors and white walls, giving it a clean, modern feel. With 112 windows, a sunroom with panoramic views, and a living-room nook with a large bay window, it’s also flooded with natural light. Other luxury touches include a wine cellar, gym, and his-and-her dressing rooms.

Now here is something you don’t see often these days, this same house was on the market last Septemeber for only $6,875,000.00 and it didn’t sell. a Price raise in this market is crazy!
