The Obamas are here! The president-elect joined his family at the Hay-Adams Hotel last night, and his daughters Malia and Sasha started school at Washington's Sidwell Friends earlier this morning.

Rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs wants to go to the inauguration—but he's refusing to pay up for tickets.

The AP has this to say to Washingtonians and inauguration visitors: "Good luck getting around DC on Inauguration Day."
