The Morning Buzz

Good morning, Washington! Here's what we're reading around the web this AM.

Yesterday was World Cocktail Day. Did you have one?

Fishbowl reports that Jonetta Rose Barras was fired from her WAMU program with Kojo Nnamdi. Barras claims she was paid less than other staffers at the station.

The oft-controversial Klingle Road will be closed officially.

WTOP's Adam Tuss reports that he "took Amtrak on National Train Day, and the train broke down. It sounds like a bad joke."

WashWords reports on a troubling Craigslist dilemma...two months after he sold his table on the site.

Students at DC public schools are planning a walkout next week to protest school closings.

Mmmm. Mangoes.
