Angry about the flagged Missed Connection from a woman who called out that perv? Yeah, you and every other Craigslist reader. We, of course, applaud her efforts, but it sure made wading through all the extra comments a pain. So here’s the five people who used Craigslist’s Missed Connections for its intended purposes.

It was very nice of you to hold the door for me this morning, and though I’m pretty sure you thought I was about 16 with my pigtails and pajamas (it was “sleepover day” at the children’s drama camp where I work, I really don’t normally go out in PJ pants), I’m guessing we really aren’t that far apart in age. You had an awesome tattoo on your elbow, which I couldn’t help but notice while waiting for you to finish pouring sugar into your drink. I’m at that Starbucks Monday through Friday at that time- maybe I’ll see you again :)

while we waited for the train at metro center and you said to me it’s always something because of the delays. I actually see you alot during the week after work on the metro, going to vienna. you were wearing some white shoes and and had on a white shirt..we should meet up one day

To the beautiful blonde, monocacy / union station riding, green satchel carrying and green sweater wearing woman (who didn’t wear her green sweater today).
We ride the train together to dc nearly every day in the quiet car. I attempted to wake you up this morning with a tap on the shoulder. We arrived in DC and everyone was departing the train, but you were still sleeping.
You didn’t even move, but I figured any further physical contact would have been inappropriate. Hope you weren’t late to work...

you were reading a hershowitz book and laughing to yourself, and you shared the section with me when you saw me smiling. i exited at union station, but wished i had stayed to read and talk with you. you are beautiful and i couldn’t help but smile...
Maybe it’s the bookworm in me, but that one’s actually pretty cute.
