FeedBack: Siroc
We caught up with Restaurant Week diners exiting Siroc (915 15th St. NW; 202-628-2220), the new Mediterranean restaurant in the former Gerard's Place space. They give us the lowdown on the date-worthy ambiance and chef Martin Lackovi's mod-Italian cuisine.

Great food and service. Stopped in for lunch and the panni sandwich was the best ever. Returned for dinner a few nights later and was not disappointed. Octopus salami was outstanding, shared arrugola salad with perfect vingerette dressing and the homemade pasta was cooked to perfection. Easy to tell the chef studied in Italy. No room for dessert but will skip salad on next visit to try the warm chocolate tart.
Try is now before reservations are impossible.

I completely agree that Siroc is a 10 - it’s best new restaurant in the city.
