To Do: Dining Out for Life

Thinking of going out to dinner tomorrow night? Eat at a restaurant taking part in Dining Out for Life, and you’ll do some good, too. More than 150 places are participating, and they’ll donate some or all of their sales to Food & Friends, which delivers meals to those living with cancer, HIV, and other illnesses.

Some restaurants, such as new trattoria Posto and high-end Italian dining room Tosca, are donating 100 percent of their proceeds. Bistrot du Coin, Little Fountain Cafe, and Geoff Tracy's recently opened Hank’s Tavern & Eats will give half. And Black Market Bistro, Il Pizzico, and Busboys and Poets, among many others, are giving 35 percent.
