Burger Brackets: Harry's Tap Room vs. Quarry House Tavern
The second round of Burger Brackets continue! Want to make sure your favorite advances? Vote in today's face-off.
Published Monday, March 16, 2009
Most of you may have St. Patrick's green on the mind (have you checked out our party guide yet?) but over here at washingtonian.com, we're all about the red meat of our Burger Brackets. While BLT Steak battles BGR Burger in this face-off, we have another burger challenge for you to vote on today. Arlingtonians and Silver Springites, you may have vested interests in this battle. Check below for today's face-off.
Harry's Tap Room: The cooks at Harry's Tap Room seem aware that their flavorful hamburger is one of the stars of the menu and treat it with as much care as they do their filet mignon. Harry's burger easily bested J. Paul's in their last bracket appearance.
Quarry House Tavern: Listed on the menu as weighing a half pound, this Silver Spring dive's hamburger is a thick patty whose circumference is greater than that of its untoasted, poppy-seed kaiser roll. Quarry House just edged out Vermilion in the first round. Who makes the better burger? Vote in the poll below, then leave your thoughts in the comments.
