Video FeedBack: Policy

By Jessica Sidman

The shiny red booths, funky chandeliers, and graffiti-tagged walls of the new restaurant/lounge Policy (1904 14th St., NW; 202-387-7654) may catch your eye. But what are people saying about the eclectic small plates at this spot near the U Street corridor? We asked diners on their way out.

I live a block away from Policy and I am so happy to have a new rest/bar in my neck of the woods.

The interior is retro sexy. I love the all the cool lighting in the lounge and the red vinyl booths.

My boyfriend and I sipped on mango mojitos all night and we enjoyed our very tasty dinner.
I enjoyed the Madras Curry Lamb Sliders and the Crispy Veal Sweetbread.I will be back to try out the rest of the menu : )

Great place and welcome to the neighborhood Policy!

I had a wonderful time at Policy. Their rosemary lamb chops are to die for.I also had the bison short ribs and a side of there truffle mayo fries. I love the idea of small plates becuase you dont feel weighed down after you eat. Trust me its not that small its much bigger than tapas.

I love the idea of eating great food then waliking upstiars to party. This place is so nice you dont want to leave. By the way their "Lovetini" was my bestfriend Friday night.

I think Policy is a great addition to the neighborhood and if you have a date this is the place to take her the atmosphere is just sexy.
