Tasty Neapolitan-style Pizza Coming to Old Town

RedRocks is opening a second location in Alexandria.

By Catherine Andrews

Pizza lovers, heads up! The beloved Columbia Heights restaurant RedRocks is opening a second location of its wood-oven-fire pizza joint. The owners just signed a lease on a space on the 900 block of King Street, right across the street from the Majestic.

Owners Doug Baj and James O'Brien will call the new venture RedRocks Pizza Napoletana—a name meant to reflect their Neapolitan menu and D.O.C. method of pizzamaking.

We're checking in with Baj and O'Brien to find out more details about the Alexandria spot, but for now, Old Towners can take joy in the fact that they'll have some pretty tasty pizza in not too long.

In addition, Pizza Paradiso is opening a new location in the 200 block of King Street (in the old Discovery Channel store location)!
