Video Sidewalk Style: Purple Reign

Welcome to Video Sidewalk Style. We’ve decided to relaunch this feature as an occasional companion piece to our regular Tuesday edition of Sidewalk Style—because you can never have too much when it comes to fashion.
For our first installment, we ran into Brooklyn-based environmental reporter Hamida Kinge by the Columbia Heights Metro. Actually, we ran after her. All the way down the station’s escalators. One of us in heels. That’s how much we liked her outfit.

Cute vi. The only thing missing is that I wanted to know what orange shirt was sorta showing under her jackets and what jewelry she had on..

What a terrific clip! I enjoyed her outfit and witty banter. Three cheers for understanding the joys of neutrals (cream) paired with complementary colors! I look forward to your next post. :)

I enjoyed her use of color. I think the blue/ purple ensemble worked with her off white tall boots and her tan scarf. The clothes fit her well and we not flashy, but combined hues in a nice way while combining different textures as well as reflective qualities. The mat clothes were offset by the shiny shirt.

Gone are the robust bureaus for the Los Angeles Times, Newhouse News, and other once-healthy news organizations. Digital media bureaus now are taking their places with as many reporters and plenty of swagger.
