Video Sidewalk Style: California Girls

By Lucia Abramovich ,   Alejandro Salinas   Published Friday, April 03, 2009

We never thought we’d see the day when two of our pop-culture icons would be proven wrong, but that’s just what happened once we met Erin and Sianna Ziegler. The sisters were nothing like what Stephen Merritt of the Magnetic Fields describes in his song, and not only did we not hate them, we really liked them. Erin had on an Anthropologie shirt with a matching Hayden-Harnett bag; Sianna was wearing an orange skirt from Banana Republic—and no, Elle Woods, she was not seriously disturbed.

Watch the video to find out why these sisters like bold colors, what they think about the way men dress in Washington, and why they hope Chris Matthews is right about the current administration.
