Fashion’s Night Out
Tonight in New York City, all fashionistas are taking to the streets in a guerilla marketing campaign to get people back into stores and stimulate the economy. It’s sponsored by the American icons of fashion: Vogue magazine and  its editor, Anna Wintour. To celebrate, all Washington Neiman Marcus stores are throwing a nightlong party. From 6 to 9, hit the Mazza Gallerie location, where you’ll find DJs, giveaways, chef demos, cocktail samples, and tons of great chances to win swag. Mid-City Party

Designer Hayley Starr is famous for her “magic dress,” a unique creation that can be worn in a number of configurations. Who doesn’t love a fashionable and recession-friendly dress? This is a reminder to book for an event on Tuesday, September 15—it’ll fill fast, so we’re telling you early. All 13 Washington Massage Envy locations are offering $35 one-hour appointments for one day only in support of the Susan G. Komen foundation. Ten dollars from each massage will be donated to the cause.
