Thursday, September 4: Chlorine hair got you down? Us too. Luckily, downtown's One80 salon is offering up hair help, with a $25 private blow-out lesson ($40 if you book on the day of) and complementary Phyto conditioning treatments (free on the first Thursday of every month—there's no purchase necessary, just make an appointment).

Also on Thursday, local fashion charity Fashion Fights Poverty is launching their new fall look book featuring lots of cool, for-a-cause styles. Head to Tattoo starting at 6pm to get the first glimpse of their annual round-up of socially responsible fashion finds.

Thursday, September 4 through Sunday, September 7:
U Street's hip Caramel boutique is expanding with a small selection of shoes by Jump, arriving this week. As a "welome, shoes!" bonus, take 15 percent off shoe purchases this weekend only.

Thursday, September 4 through Sunday, September 7: Treat is having a sale! Starting Friday, the Alexandria "sample sale" boutique's spring/summer merchandise will be discounted even more, with bargain priced racks of $10, $25, $50, $75 and $99 items. Can't wait 'til Friday? Get an early start – as well as the first glimpse of fall stock—by heading to cocktails in the store on Thursday night from 5-8pm.

Tuesday, September 9: Didja get your tickets yet? The District Sample Sale kicks off at 6:30pm (5:30pm for VIPs) and with stores like Urban Chic, Terra, Sugar and Wink signed up, you definitely don't want to miss it. We're calling first dibs on any Loeffler Randall!

Super-sale alert! We stopped off in Muleh this weekend and were thrilled to find their sale racks crammed with amazing pieces by Rozae Nichols, 3.1 Philip Lim and Vivienne Westwood. It's a can't-miss…

Plus! Dupont Circle consignment mecca Secondi was closed up on Sunday and Monday--we know this because we tried to go shopping there--so that fall stock could be rotated in. You can be we'll be getting over there early for the first crack at the new items…

It's baaaack! Did you catch Monday's season premiere of Gossip Girl? We were glued to our TV and all we can say is: Loved your Grecian gown, S! The new incarnation of 90210 debuts Tuesday, and we shamelessly admit we've got that Tivo'd as well…
