Thursday, March 27: Adele Wechsler Trunk Show
Canadian designer Adele Wechsler brings her new African-inspired gown collection, Hello Africa, to Rizik’s (1100 Connecticut Ave., NW; 202-223-4050). Wechsler hired Zulu women to do beadwork on each dress in tribal patterns representing fertility and life. If you buy one during the show, which runs through Saturday, you get a 10-percent discount. Sunday, March 30: Once-a-Year Goodwill Bridal Sale
Brides can snag dresses for $400 and less at Westfield Wheaton mall (11160 Veirs Mill Rd., Wheaton; 301-942-3200) at this Filene’s Basement-esque event hosted by Goodwill of Greater Washington. Proceeds help fund job-training programs for the disadvantaged and disabled. Read more about the sale here. Noon to 4 or until the last dress is gone.

Washington Wedding Show

Kentlands Mansion Bridal Showcase
