DRINKS:
In anticipation of next month’s Pink Rocks the Runway fashion show, Pink Jams is hosting a happy hour at Dirty Bar (1223 Connecticut Ave., NW). Enjoy “Rock the Pink” cocktails and complimentary appetizers. Proceeds will benefit Pink Jams, on organization dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness among young women and men. The event is free, although a $10 donation is suggested. 6:30 to 9 PM.

BENEFIT: Cupcake connoisseurs won’t want to miss the second annual Cupcakes & Cocktails fundraiser at One Lounge. Attendees can munch on hors d’oeuvres and cupcakes from some of DC’s hottest bakeries—including Georgetown Cupcake, Red Velvet Cupcakery, and Cake Love—sip on drinks from an open bar, partake in a silent auction, and enter to win door prizes. Special guests include ABC 7 anchor Alison Starling, award-winning journalist Leon Harris, and WUSA 9 anchor Anita Brikman. Proceeds will benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Tickets (starting at $50) can be purchased through the foundation’s Web site. 7 to 9 PM.

MUSIC: Break out the legwarmers, because Blondie is dropping by the newly-opened Fillmore. The quintessential ’80s band brought us hits like “Heart of Glass,” “The Tide Is Hight,” and “Call Me.” Tickets ($35) can be purchased through LiveNation. 7 PM.

FOOD: Wildfire is whipping up a gluten-free wine dinner tonight. The four-course menu includes wood-burning-oven pizzas, seafood and brown rice pasta shells, spit-roasted New York strip roast, and homemade cookies. Executive editor of Delights Gluten Free Magazine Vanessa Weisbrod and expert Ruth Hayden will be on hand to share tips on living gluten free. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Celiac Disease Program at Children’s National Medical Center. Tickets ($75 plus tax and gratuity) can be reserved by calling 703-442-9110. 6:30 PM.
