Here’s your Hot Ticket, our Thursday guide to concert and other event tickets going on sale in the days ahead. Read on for this week’s heads-ups.
The Pipettes are bringing back ’60s-style girl-group pop in an insanely catchy way. The British trio plays the Black Cat (1811 14th St., NW) June 2. Tickets ($10) go on sale Friday, April 27, at 5 pm.

After the success of March’s late-night Hirshhorn party, the museum (Independence Ave. and Seventh St., SW) holds another after-hours celebration May 18 from 8 pm to midnight for the opening of the Wolfgang Tillmans exhibit. Spencer Product, a white-hot DJ from New York, will be spinning. Tickets ($10) are still available. At the last Hirshhorn event, people were turned away at the door, so get your tickets in advance.

Tickets remain for the Kennedy Center’s Spring Gala, featuring Harry Connick Jr., on Sunday, April 29. Buy them here for $68.

The Decemberists play with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, July 14, at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Tickets ($40-$75) officially go on sale Friday, April 27, at 10 am (there's a passworded presale going on right now, if you've got access). Read our interview with guitarist Chris Funk and our review of the Decemberists’ show the last time they were in town.

Nelly Furtado, the Canadian pop and R&B sensation, plays the Patriot Center Friday, June 8. Tickets ($35-$45) go on sale Friday, April 27, at 10 am.
