The Roots, Brad Paisley, and Flogging Molly: Get Your Tickets

The Roots, the popular hip-hop soul group that is now the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, takes the stage at the Fillmore Silver Spring for two shows on Thursday, December 29, and Friday, December 30. The group have won numerous Grammy awards, including the 2011 Best R&B Album for Wake Up! Tickets ($45) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan will take his act to Warner Theatre for two shows on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Gaffigan has gained notoriety for his guest appearances and memorable roles in TV shows and movies like Flight of the Concords and Going the Distance. Tickets ($39.50 to $49.50) go on sale Thursday at 10 AM through Live Nation.

Flogging Molly will perform at the Fillmore Silver Spring on Friday, February 24, with special guest Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears. Flogging Molly are known for infusing punk rock with Celtic instruments. Tickets ($30) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Live Nation.

Neil Diamond heads to the Verizon Center for a show on Thursday, June 14. Diamond is a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and is known for catchy singles like “Sweet Caroline.” Tickets ($85 to $120) go on sale Monday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

Country superstar Brad Paisley will make a stop at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore on Thursday, March 1. Three-time Country Music Award winners the Band Perry and American Idol winner Scott McCreery will join Paisley. Tickets ($25 to $59.75) go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketmaster.

Ryan Adams, the singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, North Carolina, comes to the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda on Tuesday, January 24. Adams has had a successful career both as a solo artist and with the band the Cardinals. Ticket prices are yet to be announced, but they go on sale Friday at 10 AM through Ticketfly.
