The Conservative Democratic Alliance, in cooperation with Summers Grill & Sports Pub in Arlington, is hosting a nonpartisan debate-watching party at 7:30. The pub will be divided into two sections, one for each party, with the Republican side’s televisions tuned to Fox News, while the Democrats’ televisions will be tuned to CNN. Each room has a 100-person capacity, and it’s first-come/first-served, so get there early.
The Prince William County Republicans will watch the debate from L&B’s Pizzeria in Woodbridge. Guest speakers include Jeff Frederick, chair of the Republican Party of Virginia. Party starts at 8.
The Alexandria City Republicans will host their debate-watching party at the Hilton Mark Center at 8:30.
Stop by Marvin for a meet and greet with editors and writers of The Root, an African American-interest Web magazine. Watch the debate in drive-in style as it's projected from the rooftop on the wall of the building next door. The event starts at 8 and is free.
