Monday, January 26: Len Downie at Politics and Prose
Len Downie, the Washington Post’s former executive editor, will read from his novel, The Rules of the Game, at Politics and Prose. The book follows an investigative reporter covering a presidential campaign; 7 PM.

Tuesday, January 27:One Man Star Wars Trilogy
At the Birchmere, Canadian actor Charles Ross takes on George Lucas’s beloved Star Wars saga, reducing the three sci-fi films to a 75-minute show in which he plays all the characters, creates all the special effects, and fights on all sides of the battles. The show starts at 7:30; tickets ($35) can be purchased here.

Wednesday, January 28: The Killers
“Are you human, or are you dancer?” asks the Killers’ lead singer, Brandon Flowers, in the song “Human.” All those attending the band’s concert at the Patriot Center will most likely identify with the latter. Tickets ($44.50) can be purchased here.

Thursday, January 29: Dancing with the Stars
Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, and other cast members of the ABC hit show Dancing With the Stars will perform at the Verizon Center. Tickets ($52.50 to $225) can be purchased here.
