Washington Capitals goalie Jose Theodore will be at ESPN Zone tonight at 7 for a question-and-answer session emceed by Caps broadcaster Steve Kolbe. We’re serious this time . . . .

Tuesday, February 10
The Library of Congress hosts a performance by the Mira Trio in the Thomas Jefferson Building’s Coolidge Auditorium. The trio, which includes pianist Byron Schenkman, violinist Gabriella Diaz, and Alexei Gonzales on cello, performs at 8.

Wednesday, February 11
Ira Glass, host of the public-radio show and Showtime series This American Life, will be at the 18th and L streets Borders in downtown DC at 6:30 to introduce and discuss his season-two DVD set of the TV show.

Thursday, February 12
T.C. Boyle, winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award for fiction, will discuss his new book, The Women, at Politics and Prose at 7. The novel is about American architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s romantic entanglements with women, including his first wife, Catherine, whom he left for Mamah Cheney, his mistress who was killed in a fire; his second wife, Maud Miriam Noel; and his last wife, Olgivanna.

Friday, February 13
The Sackler and Freer galleries present Over There as part of the Iranian Film Festival. The black-and-white film, directed by Abdolreza Kahani, depicts ten days in the life of a young couple in the midst of a marital breakdown. The movie plays at 7 in the Meyer Auditorium.

Saturday, February 14
Local singer/songwriter Benjy Ferree will perform at Crooked Beat Records in Adams Morgan at 7.

Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15
The National Museum of the American Indian hosts a two-day Power of Chocolate festival. The event includes performances by Peruvian scissor dancers, demonstrations by Guatemalan gourd artists, and talks with Bolivian cacao growers. The program goes from 10:30 to 4:30 both days.
