Things to Do

Where & When: This Week in Nightlife

What to do for fun this week!

Monday: Previously on Lost
Get an unusual (read: melodic) refresher on ABC’s hit show Lost before it wraps up this weekend: Check out Previously on Lost, the Brooklyn-based band that writes songs about individual episodes, at Iota Club & Café. Show starts at 8; tickets are $12. Listen to some of the band’s songs here.

Tuesday: War Zone
Journalist Sebastian Junger stops by Politics and Prose at 7 to read from and discuss his latest book, War, which recounts his 14-month experience with a platoon in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley. Free.

Wednesday: Horror Shop
Ford Theatre’s revival of Little Shop of Horrors, which our critic praises for its energetic cast and overall charm, wraps up this weekend. Tonight’s show starts at 7:30; tickets ($25 to $49) can be purchased here.

Thursday: Dupont Underground
The coalition behind the Dupont Underground concept—which seeks to transform the abandoned trolley space below Dupont Circle into an arts space—is holding a fundraiser at the Knoll showroom. The event starts at 6. RSVP to dupontundergroundknoll@gmail.com.
