Missed Connections: Lost in the Crowd Edition

A host of posters miss the need for detail as they look for love

One of the key components of any successful Missed Connections post is an identifying detail. An orange scarf, Toms shoes, a neon-green mohawk—something to let a potential flame know he or she was admired. This week, several Craigslist posters seem to have missed that memo, putting out signals so vague you can’t help but wonder why they put a post up at all. Or perhaps casting a wide net is all part of their strategy?

I was in military uniform, you were standing outside of Starbucks. I asked you to take a photo with me. You did. If you’re out there, message me.

Good thing there aren’t a billion Starbucks in this city or anything.

I’d like to meet you. I saw you put that jacket on backwards. only someone I’d want to meet would do that at church

Just imagine what their wedding attire would look like.

Passed you in Macys Parking garage stairwell–m4w (Arlington)

Hi. We passed briefly in the stairwell of the parking garage at Pentagon City Mall, near Macys.
You were carrying a white shopping bag. We made eye contact and you smiled.
. . .Like you’d ever read this in a thousand years. . . . . . 🙂
You are very pretty!

Maybe we’ve seen too many episodes of the Sopranos, but this seems like the creepiest place to meet someone. Ever.

Anyone wish they had a missed connection. Lets make one happen. Lets go shopping the Bloom at 930 Wear black pants or a black skirt to get noticed. Post afterwards if you saw anyone you like.

Looking as generic as possible to try to stand out? We’re not sure we follow the logic here.
