Based on record sales, Boyz II Men is the best selling R&B group of all time. With such hits as “I’ll Make Love to You” and “End of the Road,” it’s no wonder. Wednesday, November 17
The annoyingly adorable musical Annie! opens tonight at the Olney Theater Center. Favorite tunes such as “It’s a Hard Knock Life” and “Tomorrow” make this a family-friendly show. It runs through January 2, 2011. Tickets ($39 to $54) are available here.

Thursday, November 18
What’s “Deck the Halls” without pyrotechnics and some lasers? The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, a holiday favorite, plays the Verizon Center tonight. The 60-piece band is known for its hard-rocking renditions of Christmas classics. 7:30; buy tickets ($25 to $59) here.
