The improv theater that gave us Amy Poehler and Ed Helms is coming to DC. The Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company is performing two shows at Sidney Harman Hall. Get tickets ($20) at the Shakespeare Theatre Company Web site. 9:30.
Gigi Bio’s solo show, “Biomorphic,” is opening at the Art Whino Gallery. Her photo collages capture the abstract and emotional side to the bustling streets of New York City. The opening reception is 7 to 11, and there’s no cover. The exhibit is on display through February 16.
For another art option, check out a gallery talk by Israeli glassblower Dafna Kafferman, followed by an opening reception for the other five women artists whose works are currently on display at American University’s Katzen Art Center.
