Where & When: What to Do Tonight

An artsy party and a look back at a director’s best

BALLET: The Washington Ballet’s Le Corsaire features pirates, slave girls, and pashas in a lively production of a 19th century classic. At the Kennedy Center tonight through April 10. Get tickets ($20) at the KenCen site.

FILM: Director David Lynch gets the retrospective treatment at Artisphere. It begins tonight with The Elephant Man; other films include Lost Highway and Blue Velvet. 8 PM; buy tickets ($6) at the venue’s Web site.

DJ: Videotheque: Beats and Vision Unite takes exhibits usually found in a gallery and puts them in a bar. This month’s installation and party at Science Club features the beats of several local DJs, and proceeds go to the American Red Cross to help victims of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami. 9 PM; no cover, but donations are encouraged.
