Our Pick for the Week: The Bard at His Bloodiest

Titus Andronicus at the Shakespeare Theatre.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (450 7th Street NW) presents its first-ever production of Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. Written near the beginning of his career as a playwright, Titus is one of the bard’s bloodiest plays. It should be interesting to see how the company stages it. 7:30 pm. The play runs through May 20. Tickets are $19 to $51.

Titus is just one of our picks for events happening around town this week. For even more fun times and entertainment, including pop diva in concert and an innovative dance troupe, check out Where & When Weekly, our regular column on the best of what's going on around town this week.
