FESTIVAL: Ping Pong Dim Sum’s Dragon Boat Festival kicks off tonight—that means for every “beer boat” order of six or ten Tsingtaos, you’ll get a second boat free. At the Dupont location, there’s also a sticky rice, or zongzi, demonstration, where you can learn to make your own sticky stuff. In Chinatown, there’s a big rubber ducky race with prizes. Free. 5 PM.

THEATER: Have you checked out the Source Festival yet? The theater’s month of original plays, shorts, and talent shows is ending this week, but you’ve still got a chance to see Uses of Enchantment, a full-length play about a troubled little girl who uses fairy tales to cope with tragedy. Tickets ($20) are available online. 8 PM.

BEST OF: You didn’t think we’d forgotten about Maryland, did you? The Washingtonian’s last AT&T Best Of Happy Hour before the Best Of Washington Party on July 11 is at Bethesda’s Redwood. We’re turning it into a mini “Best Of” event, with tastings from Dolcezza, Jaleo, Luke’s Lobster, Taylor Gourmet, Redwood, Mussel Bar, and more. A $10 donation to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society gets you in the door, two drink tickets, and five food tastings. $10. 6 PM.
