Happy Friday, fried-dough fans.

We are closing in on another week of doughnut bouts—on Thursday, the apple cider pastries at Mac’s Donuts beat out the famously fantastic fritters at Fiola.

In our next contest, P Street newbie Zeke’s DC Donutz competes with the glazed goodies from Silver Spring brunch spot Jackie’s—where customers choose made-to-order raspberry, chocolate, or dulce de leche treats. Have at it.
