An Early Look at Taylor Charles Steak & Ice (Pictures)

Here’s a sneak peek at the cheesy goods.

Taylor Charles Steak & Ice's original cheesesteaks, like this one with beef rib eye (there’s also chicken and marinated portobellos), can be customized “wit or wit-out” grilled onions, and a selection of cheeses such as American or house-made white Whiz. Photograph by Andrew Propp.

Great news for cheesesteak lovers: Taylor Charles Steak & Ice, the first spinoff venture from the Taylor Gourmet guys, is officially open in the Atlas District. We previewed the casual, Philadelphia-inspired sandwich shop earlier—now feast your eyes on this photo slideshow of the deep-fried, cheese-laden goods. We also have the full menu for your greasy-meal-planning purposes.
