Free baby Snooki burgers: This one’s for you, GTLers. In honor of Snooki’s newly delivered offspring, Lorenzo, BGR the Burger Joint is bringing back the Snooki burger. That’s a toasted brioche bun, a beef patty, grilled jalapeño, Philadelphia cream cheese, and mojo sauce. A free “baby Snooki” slider comes with every order—the deal’s available today through September 30.

Half off bacon-wrapped meatloaf: The Diner in Adams Morgan just updated its menu to include the aforementioned meat treat, as well as other items such as pimiento cheese dip and bread pudding French toast (available midnight to 6 AM, party people). The deal: Get 50 percent off your bill today from 5 to 11 PM.

White wine tasting: Cafe Dupont hosts its monthly wine tasting today from 5:30 to 6:30 with a focus on white varietals from around the world. The course costs $28 and includes four half glasses of vino like Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc and Argentinian Terrazas Torrontes. They’ll be paired with bites from chef Silvan Kramer.

Trip to Spain: Taberna del Alabardero throws a Spanish wine dinner on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Five courses—including toasted bread topped with lobster and oven-roasted suckling pig—are paired with various wines of the Rioja ($95 per person). Call 202-429-2200 for reservations.

La Tomatina: Ripple celebrates La Tomatina festival with a special five-course menu ($65 per person) on Wednesday starring local Virginia tomatoes. Dishes run the gamut from house-made tomato-burrata cheese to a goat cheese and tomato ice cream sundae. Call 202-244-7995 for reservations.

Date deal: Here’s a pretty good day designed by the FreshFarm Market and Equinox: Join chefs Todd Gray, Karen Nicolas, and Scott Gallegos on Thursday during your lunch break at the farmers market by the White House to gather ingredients, and then meet them back at Muse inside the Corcoran Gallery at 6 for a cooking class followed by dinner. Space is limited to 12 diners plus their companions, and is $40 per person. Reserve by e-mailing ellen@equinoxrestaurant.com.

Pie contest: The Bethesda Central Farm Market hosts its third annual Bake Bethesda a Pie Contest on Sunday at 11 AM. Amateur bakers register online and then whip up their own version of pie perfection—sweet or savory—for the tasters.

Burger bash: Speaking of contests, Policy holds a burger-eating challenge called the Burger Bash, featuring PBR and Jack Daniel’s specials, on Sunday at 5. Bonus: There are also $5 veggie and brisket burgers and a free toppings bar.
