Restaurant Week officially ended last Sunday, but lots of restaurants are keeping the specials going. Here’s where you can still find those $20.09 lunches and $35.09 dinners.

The lunch and dinner specials at this Penn Quarter dining room include an extensive roster of dishes.

On the lunch menu, starters are soup of the day; lamb risotto with puttanesca and carrot/verjus espuma; and bay scallops with fennel purée, sweet corn, and baby-spinach-and-arugula salad.

Entrées are grilled-vegetable strudel with roasted-red-pepper vinaigrette and havarti crème; trout with seafood mousseline en croûte and pickled white grapes; port-wine-and-Marsala-braised beef short ribs; and chicken breast with wild-mushroom risotto.

For dessert, there’s seasonal sorbet; molten chocolate cake with Grand Marnier sauce; vanilla cheesecake with strawberry compote; and crème brûlée with shortbread.   

Dinner begins with soup of the day; lamb risotto with puttanesca and carrot/verjus espuma; bay scallops with fennel purée, sweet corn, and baby-spinach-and-arugula salad; beet salad with goat cheese, Thai chilies, and lemongrass; spinach pappardelle with truffles, Thai chilies, guanciale, and clams; chilled asparagus salad with ricotta salata and a trio of vinaigrettes; and steamed mussels with Thai chilies, coconut, and grilled lime.

Main courses include grilled-vegetable strudel with roasted-red-pepper vinaigrette and havarti crème; trout with seafood mousseline en croûte and pickled white grapes; port-wine-and-Marsala braised beef short ribs; coconut-braised lobster; sweet potato gnocchi with eggplant tapenade and goat cheese; soy/mustard-glazed salmon with lemon sabayon and sweet-and-sour bok choi; sweet-chili-glazed Muscovy duck breast with braised napa cabbage; half of a roasted chicken with andouille and cornbread; and lamb chop with asparagus, tomato jam, and potatoes dauphin.

Dessert is seasonal sorbet; molten chocolate cake with Grand Marnier sauce; vanilla cheesecake with strawberry compote; crème brûlée with shortbread; blueberry financière with Morello-cherry compote; or apple tart with bourbon/caramel sauce.

BlackSalt
This Palisades fish market/restaurant’s three-course lunch special will be available until the end of the month.

Appetizers include calamari with chipotle rémoulade; mussels with tomato and garlic; tuna tartare; baby spinach salad; and hummus with grilled pita.

Entrées are a crispy-catfish sandwich; a wood-grilled burger with aged Gouda; Provençal seafood stew; wood-grilled salmon with pancetta cider vinaigrette; and pasta of the day.

For dessert, there’s chocolate bread pudding, apple cheesecake, and ice cream or sorbet.

Café Atlántico
José Andrés’s Nuevo Latino dining room is extending both lunch and dinner specials.

The lunch menu includes soup of the day or a green salad; Veracruz-style special of the day, huitlacoche quesadilla, or a Cuban sandwich; and warm chocolate cake or sorbet of the day.

The dinner menu is more extensive. Appetizers include soup of the day, green salad, tuna ceviche, and conch fritters. Entrées are salmon with apples and pine nuts; portobello mushroom with huitlacoche and beets; short ribs with mushrooms and truffled potato foam; chicken Veracruz; and grilled skirt steak with malanga purée. For dessert, there’s warm chocolate cake or sorbet of the day.

A $75 seven-course tasting menu is also available.

Farrah Olivia

Morou Ouattara’s Old Town dining room is extending its dinner special.

Appetizers include sourdough beignets with apples and red cabbage; shocked escolar with soy pearls; New England-style chowder; and a green salad.

Entrées are pan-roasted chicken breast with a curry-banana crust; Parmesan gnudi with white asparagus; cinnamon-roasted pork loin with sweet-potato-and-cabbage confit; braised short ribs with cream of mushrooms; and haddock with lentil purée and curry pearls.

For dessert, there’s almond panna cotta with poached quince; chocolate-espresso cheesecake; and black-currant sorbet with Champagne ice.

Georgia Brown’s

The dinner special at this Southern-accented downtown DC dining room will run through the end of February.

Appetizers are a choice of duck-and-mushroom soup, shrimp Louis, or blackened-catfish hush puppies. Entrées are sweet-tea fried chicken, steak frites, or peach-and-peanut-glazed salmon. Dessert is chocolate-peanut pot de crème or pineapple upside-down cake.

Jackson 20

Both the lunch and dinner specials at this Old Town hotel restaurant give diners full run of the menu.

Nage
This Rehoboth Beach import in downtown DC is offering lunch and dinner specials through the end of the month.

Lunch appetizer choices are farro minestrone, Caesar salad, and salmon latkes. Entrées are meatloaf with rosemary-garlic mashed potatoes; seafood risotto; and chicken with lentils and Brussels sprouts.

On the dinner menu, appetizers are grilled romaine salad with roasted-garlic dressing, chicken sausage with pickled shallots, and farro minestrone. Entrées are grilled lamb loin with golden-raisin compote, slow-baked salmon with mustard beurre blanc, and roasted pork tenderloin with caramelized-pear jus.

Lunch and dinner desserts are tres cafes cake, vanilla/brown-sugar bread pudding, and guava meringue tart.

The Oval Room

Lunch and dinner deals will extend through the end of the month at this Modern American restaurant near the White House.

Appetizers include roasted beets with walnut dressing; cauliflower soup with cumin oil; mozzarella with red-papaya-and-sweet-chili dressing; shrimp chorizo with persimmons and avocado; and goat-cheese custard with kumquats and jalapeño.

Entrées are flatiron steak with roasted salsify and maitake mushrooms; crispy chicken with sweet-potato-and-guanciale dumplings; monkfish with black beans and sake dressing; squash-and-apple risotto; and crisp-skinned bass with braised carrots.

For dessert, choose among peanut-butter-cheesecake parfait, passion-fruit tart, a brownie with Vietnamese-coffee ice cream, and rum-braised pineapple with margarita sorbet.

PS7’s

Peter Smith’s playful American cooking is shown off in lunch and dinner specials offered on extensive menus.

Lunch appetizers include sweet-potato-and-butternut-squash bisque; smoked salmon with goat-cheese crostini; Thai-style mussels; and flatbread topped with walnut butter and drunken goat cheese. Among the lunch entrées are cornmeal-fried trout; a Kentucky-inspired hot brown sandwich; pan-seared salmon with watercress salad; fried chicken breast; seafood stew; and braised short ribs.

The dinner menu starts with warm spinach salad; roasted beets and pickled fennel with goat cheese; Thai-style mussels; and a green salad with pears and walnuts. Entrées include chicken ballotine; pork loin with brown butter; butternut-squash risotto; soy-glazed cod; and beef tenderloin with red-wine jus.

Lunch and dinner desserts are pineapple/polenta cake, banana crisp, manchego cheesecake, and orange cream cake.

Rasika

This colorful Penn Quarter restaurant is offering lunch and dinner specials on its Modern Indian fare.

Lunch appetizers are chicken tikka; minced lamb with ginger and spicy tomato sauce; and crispy spinach with yogurt and tamarind. Entrées include chicken makhani; lamb with cashews, cardamom, and coconut; tandoori salmon; and palak paneer with vegetable curry.

Dinner starts with a choice of calamari with chilies and malt vinegar; chicken tikka; minced lamb with spicy tomato sauce; spiced potato-chickpea patty; and crispy spinach with yogurt and tamarind. Entrées are chicken makhani; lamb with lentils and fenugreek; a mixed grill of salmon, chicken tikka, and seekh kebab; mahi mahi with ginger and coconut milk; black cod with dill and honey; and a vegetable plate of palak paneer, vegetable curry, and dal makhani.

Lunch and dinner entrées come with basmati rice, naan, and mint paratha.

For dessert on both menus, there’s green-tea-and-guava sorbet, pumpkin-and-ginger ice cream, carrot halwa, and coconut rice kheer.

Dino
This leisurely Cleveland Park Italian spot is extending its dinner special. Diners get full run of menu (the only upcharge is for a steak) plus a crostini trio.

Grillfish

This West End seafood restaurant is giving full run of the regular menu for its lunch and dinner specials. A bottle of wine is included with dinner.

Hook

An extensive three-course lunch menu is on offer at this Georgetown seafood spot. Among the appetizers are a beet salad with goat cheese and tangelos; tuna tartare; smoked salmon with crème fraîche and trout roe; and wood-grilled calamari.

Entrées include salmon with sweet potatoes and shallot vinaigrette; haddock fish and chips with rémoulade; mahi mahi with chickpeas and spinach; and striped bass with scallop-and-shrimp mousse.

For both lunch and dinner dessert, there's apple-frangipane tart; chocolate/hazelnut torte; buttermilk panna cotta; and chocolate- pudding pie.

Jaleo
All three locations of José Andrés’s Spanish tapas house are extending their lunch and dinner specials. Lunch includes three small plates and a dessert; dinner is four tapas and a dessert.

Mie N Yu

This fanciful Asian-fusion dining room is offering extended lunch and dinner specials.

Lunch starters include berry lassi, Bombay peanut salad, salmon bruschetta, and lamb kebabs. Entrées are a crab-avocado omelet, banana-walnut pancakes, falafel, and a Silk Road burger. Desserts are chocolate truffle cake and pecan-chocolate croustade.

Dinner appetizers are Bombay peanut salad, smoked-salmon bruschetta, firecracker tuna tartare, Afghan mantu, and lamb kebabs. Dinner entrées include wild-mushroom-and-tofu fried rice, ginger-dusted salmon, rogan josh, Moroccan beef, chili-infused crab cakes ($5 surcharge), and miso duck breast ($5 surcharge). Desserts are chocolate truffle cake, pumpkin cheesecake, and pecan-chocolate croustade.

Oyamel

José Andrés’s Mexican small-plates spot is doing Restaurant Week lunches and dinners through the beginning of March. Lunch is two small plates, one taco, and dessert; dinner is three small plates, one taco, and dessert.


1789

This elegant Georgetown mainstay is serving a $35 three-course dinner. On the menu: duck confit risotto, roasted branzino, rabbit stew, and hanger steak. There will be three desserts to choose from.

Vermilion

Dinner is on special at this Old Town, Alexandria restaurant through the beginning of March.

Appetizers include butternut-squash soup with apple and pumpkin-seed oil; crispy oysters with shaved-fennel-and-slaw dressing; and country pâté with grilled oyster mushrooms, pickled egg, and sherry vinaigrette.

Entrées are salmon with baby bok choy, winter citrus, and ginger-carrot purée; grilled bistro steak with caraway spaetzle and Alsatian cabbage; and fettuccine with trumpet mushrooms, mascarpone, and garlic breadcrumbs.

For dessert, there’s chocolate cream pie with bananas two ways and smoked caramel or buttermilk chess pie with bergamot ice cream and kumquat marmalade.

Willow

This jewel-toned Ballston dining room’s lunch and dinner specials extend to the beginning of March.

Lunch starters include wild-mushroom bisque, smoked-ham-and-winter-vegetable soup, mixed-greens salad, fish and chips, and tomato-chorizo flatbread. Entrées are chicken-and-duck pot pie, salmon salad, lamb-and-merguez-sausage burger, shrimp Provençal, and wild-mushroom-and-arugula lasagna. For dessert, there’s a caramel-brownie sundae, lemon meringue tart, cake of the day, and sticky-toffee-pudding cake.

Dinner appetizers are butternut-squash cake, smoked-ham-and-white-bean soup, mixed-greens salad, mushroom agnolotti, fried crab cakes, smoked-salmon carpaccio, and rosemary-glazed lamb spare ribs. Main courses are potato-wrapped salmon with ricotta pancakes; crispy chicken breast; pepper-crusted filet mignon; cassoulet with duck confit; and seared haddock. Desserts include lava cake, sticky-toffee pudding, lemon meringue tart, and layer cake of the day.

Through Friday, March 13

The Prime Rib
This old-school, jacket-required dining room in downtown DC is extending its specials until mid-March.

Customers have to specially request the menu, which is the same at lunch and dinner. It begins with a choice of house salad or roasted-tomato soup. Then it’s prime rib ($4 surcharge); London broil; grilled calf’s liver; corned beef and cabbage; chicken piccata; crab imperial; or flounder. All entrées are served with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. For dessert, there’s crème brûlée or Key-lime pie.
