Tom Sietsema’s Spring Dining Guide has arrived. The WaPo critic has great things to say about new chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley at Ripple (where, psst, brunch debuts on Sunday) and bestows 2.5 stars on Wit & Wisdom. Lauriol Plaza, on the other hand, proves fodder for a panning. [WaPo]

Awk-ward. Woman sues Bourbon Steak, alleging that the manager called her a “lady of the night.” [Y&H]

Etto—a collab between owners of 2 Amys and the Standard—starts serving on 14th Street. [Washingtonian]

The Wydown Coffee Bar has popped up on U Street. It’s Kaldi’s Coffee, PT’s, and Intelligentsia for the moment, but in-house roasting is in the plans once the shop settles into permanent digs. [Borderstan]
