Hey, readers. Unfortunately, many food trucks are feeling the gloom of today and staying off the streets. However, you will find some scattered around Northern Virginia, Union Station, and George Washington. Curbside Cupcake will be out and about offering two cupcakes for $5. At Farragut Square, Basil Thyme promises you’ll get your meal in 60 seconds or less.

Metro Center (12th and G sts., NW), where you'll find Sol Mexican Grill and Far East Taco Grille.

Northern Virginia, where you'll find Big Cheese (Crystal City), Red Hook Lobster (Courthouse), and Curbside Cupcake (Courthouse, Crystal City, and Pentagon City).

State Department/West End area (around 21st St. and Virginia Ave., NW), where you'll find Tasty Kabob.

Union Station (North Capitol St. and Massachusetts Ave., NE), where you'll find Red Hook Lobster and Pi Truck.
