Morning, readers! If you’re out for lunch, try one of the many food trucks at Farragut Square, Navy Yard, and in the State Department/West End area. Pleasant Pops has some new flavors, including cinnamon-vanilla-peach and peach-hibiscus. You can find them in the West End and around 19th and M streets, Northwest.
Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you’ll find El Floridano, TaKorean (nearby at 20th and L sts., NW), Sidewalk Sweets, Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1’s second and third stops), Best Burritos, Basil Thyme, and Benethiopia from Fojol Bros.
Franklin Square (13th and K sts., NW), where you’ll find AZN Eats, Sol Mexican Grill, Tasty Kabob, and Sang on Wheels.
L’Enfant (Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW), where you’ll find Merlindia from Fojol Bros, Porc Mobile, Halal Grill, and Eat Wonky.
Metro Center (12th and G sts., NW), where you’ll find Red Hook Lobster, Feelin’ Crabby, and DC Slices.
Navy Yard (around M St. and New Jersey Ave., SE), where you’ll find Hula Girl, BBQ Bus, Dippin’ Dots, Sol Mexican Grill, the Ficelle, and DC Empanadas.
Northern Virginia, where you’ll find the Big Cheese (Crystal City), Doug the Food Dude (Courthouse), Sinplicity, Smith Meadows, and Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn), Willie’s Po’ Boy (GMU), and Curbside Cupcakes (Pentagon City, Crystal City, and Rosslyn).
