Summer is flying—today is already the third Truckeroo festival at Navy Yard. So if you’re lucky enough to get a half day at work, head down to Half and M streets, Southeast, to get your food-truck fix. As always, there’ll be more than 20 vendors and live music from 11 AM to 11 PM—for free. Happy Friday!
Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you’ll find Yellow Vendor, Saucalito from Sâuçá, the Ficelle, the Pie Truck, and Tasty Kabob (first truck).
Franklin Square (13th and K sts., NW), where you’ll find Pi Truck, Basil Thyme, and Pangea from Sâuçá.
L’Enfant (Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW), where you’ll find Tasty Kabob (second truck) and Kabob Bites.
Metro Center (12th and G sts., NW), where you’ll find Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1’s second stop), Halal Gyro Plus, and Marco Polo from Sâuçá.
Northern Virginia, where you’ll find Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 2 stops at Virginia Square, Ballston, and Rosslyn), Maple Ave Xpress and Top Dog Truck (Tysons Corner), Doug the Food Dude (Crystal City), Bratwurst King (Reston), and District Taco and Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn).
State Department/West End area (around 21st St. and Virginia Ave., NW), where you’ll find Benethiopia from Fojol Bros.
Truckeroo at Navy Yard (Half and M sts., SE), where you’ll find Curbside Cupcakes, Sol Mexican Grill, the Cheesecake Truck, DC Empanadas, Sinplicity, Sweet Bites, Eat Stix, Feelin Crabby, Porc Mobile, Hula Girl, Sang on Wheels, Sabor’a Street, TaKorean, BBQ Bus, DC Slices, Eat Wonky, Pleasant Pops, Magellan from Sâuçá, and El Floridano.
