Truck Stops: Where to Find Lunch on Wheels

Good morning, readers! Those of you who are in Northern Virginia today have lucked out. There are a number of food trucks headed your way, making multiple stops. In Crystal City, don't miss Capital Empanadas' debut of its first-ever sweet offering: guava cheese. Anyone in Chinatown should welcome Eat Stix to the area—it's the truck's first time visiting that area.

Chinatown/Gallery Place, where you'll find Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 1's third stop), Eat Stix, and Saucalito from Sâuçá.

Farragut Square (17th and I sts., NW), where you'll find Benethiopia from Fojol Bros, DC Empanadas, Red Hook Lobster (19th and L sts., NW), and TaKorean.

Federal Triangle, where you'll find Sweet Bites.

Franklin Square (14th and K sts., NW),
where you'll find Magellan from Sâuçá and Merlindia from Fojol Bros.

L'Enfant (around Sixth St. and Maryland Ave., SW), where you'll find Austin Grill Truck, Fry Captain, Pangea from Sâuçá, PORC, and Sweet Bites. Sabor'a Street is nearby at 395 E Street, Southwest.

Metro Center (around 12th and G sts., NW), where you'll find DC Slices, Sol Mexican Grill, Tasty Kabob, El Floridano, Marco Polo from Sâuçá, and Big Cheese. Curbside Cupcakes is nearby (Pinky 3's first stop at 14th and G sts., NW).

Navy Yard (Fourth and M sts., SE), where you'll find The Ficelle, Sol Mexican Grill, and Eat Wonky.

Northern Virginia,
where you'll find Sweet Fleet (Rosslyn, Virginia Square, Ballston, and Shirlington), Curbside Cupcakes (Pinky 3 will make stops in Pentagon City and Crystal City), Capital Empanadas and Bada Bing (Crystal City), Choupi Crepes (Rosslyn), and Top Dog Truck (Solutions Dr. off Greensboro Dr., Tysons Corner).

State Department/West End area (around 20th St. and Virginia Ave., NW),
where you'll find Pi Truck. Pleasant Pops is at the Foggy Bottom farmers market from 3 to 7.

Union Station,
where you'll find DC Pie Truck.
