Two big prizes are up for grabs this week: six months’ worth of free happy hour goodies from both Bar Pilar and Café Saint-Ex, or up to 50 gratis cupcakes from Sprinkles.
If you’re going for the sweets:
Sprinkles loves trading cupcakes for whispers (for proof of that, just check out their timeline), but the company is taking it to the next level with a massive cupcake giveaway. Cupcakes will be delivered to your office for up to 50 people (one per person, don’t get greedy). All you have to do is post a Sprinkles-themed photo of your and your coworkers on the Sprinkles Facebook page by September 14 at 11:59 PM. May we suggest the strategic use of interns.
If you’re going for the booze:
Sister watering holes Bar Pilar and Café Saint-Ex are planning to launch happy hour for the first time in October, and are challenging Washingtonians to come up with the best format possible. To get in the game, go to Pilar’s Facebook and/or the page for Saint-Ex and post your dream happy hour in the comments with ideas for specials, music, timing, themes, etc. Want to see free shots of Becherovka in exchange for performing a “Gangnam Style” dance at midnight? Now’s your chance to make it happen. The deadline is September 15.
