New! Italian Steakhouse at Dino
Fiorentina tenderloin, rose veal, and spice-rubbed venison, paired with your choice of sauce and sides, are on the special meat preview menu this Father's Day weekend at Dino.  This Friday June 18 through Sunday June 20, treat Dad to one of these steakhouse-style meals accompanied by a real treat— 33 percent off all wines priced at $50 or more.  If he's more of a martini drinker, the neighborhood Italian restaurant has also whipped up a James Bond-inspired cocktail—the gin, vodka and Cocchi Americano 'Vesper'— in honor of the holiday. 

New! Beer and Meat at Art & Soul
Atkins-friendly options about at Art & Soul this Father's Day. Specials include baby back ribs paired with boardwalk fries ($32), cowboy cut ribeye and eggs for brunch ($35), and rack of lamb with a goat cheese tart ($34 for dinner), and each Dad will receive a complimentary beer flight with his meal. 

New! All-You-Can-Eat Brunch at the Kennedy Center
If Dad's a big theater nut, try brunch at the Kennedy Center's Rooftop Terrace restaurant.  For $39.95, guests can walk through the grand kitchen and fill their plates with an unlimited amount of prime rib, Lyonnaise potatoes, oysters, and made-to-order omelettes.  Parents also receive a complimentary mimosa or glass of sparkling wine.  

Two for $29 / BBQ Takeout at Asia Nine
Chinatown pan-Asian joint Asia Nine has two deals this Father's Day.  A $29 two-course prix fixe menu features dishes such as Korean sizzling beef and a shrimp and chili sauté, while a $20 takeaway BBQ box comes with an entree and two sides. We're thinking the latter would be a great idea for an impromptu picnic.

Personal Touches at Bangkok Joe's
Bangkok Joe's owner Aulie Bunyarataphan is cooking of eight of her husband's favorite Thai entrees in honor of the holiday.  Priced at $16 each, dishes such as grilled flank steak with thai basil will come paired with a complimentary flavored mimosa. 

Free Cigars Cafe Dupont
Dad can brunch and puff can puff a complimentary hand-rolled cigar on the outdoor patio of Cafe Dupont this Sunday.  The hotel restaurant is also offering a Scotch menu sampler.  11-2. Call 202-797-0169 for reservations, which are strongly recommended. 

Free Burgers at the Counter
Reston Town Center’s build-your-own-burger joint the Counter is offering free burger—toppings and all—to any father that mentions the Burger for Dad deal when ordering with a paying guest.

Chocolate, Bacon & Beer Brunch at Co Co. Sala
Priced at $50 per adult and $30 per child, Co Co. Sala has just the thing for the dad who can never get enough decadent flavor. This three-course brunch—which includes a dessert tray and plates ranging from french toast s’mores to Louisiana crabcakes—is accompanied by your choice of beer flight, mimosa, or bacon bloody Mary, as well as a surprise chocolate take-home for Dad. Carving Station at Jackson 20
In honor of dads everywhere, the Old Town steakhouse Jackson 20 is putting its cooks in the dining room to serve sliced prime rib, potato salad, smashed potatoes, and green-bean salad. $20 per person. Call 703-842-2790 for reservations.

British Isles Brunch at Againn
Downtown DC’s British gastropub, Againn, is offering a three-course menu from 11 to 3. For $35 a person, diners can nosh on house-made scones, all the fixings of a traditional English breakfast, and sticky-toffee pudding. Beer and Scotch are also available. Call 202-639-9830 for reservations.

Father’s Day Barbecue at Addie’s
The Rockville Modern American eatery Addie’s is bringing out the barrel smoker. Get ready for whole roasted pigs, goats, and lambs as well a special Southern-inspired brunch menu. We’re especially excited for the New Orleans-style beignets and chimichurri kid goat. Brunch specials run from 11:30 to 3:30, and the smoked dishes are available all day. Eric Ziebold Cooking Demo at Sou’Wester
Sou’Wester— the Manadrin Oriental hotel’s Southern-inspired dining room—is hosting lunch and dinnertime cookouts. The “It’s All About the Grill” series features an on-the-lawn cooking demonstration by chef Eric Ziebold, who’ll discuss grilling techniques for steaks, sausages, and fresh veggies, before serving a variety of dishes. The lunch demonstration begins at 11:30, and dinner begins at 6. $75 including beverage at lunch, $75 excluding beverage at dinner. Call 202-787-6068 for reservations.

Father’s Day Raffle at Lost Boys
Still not sure what to get Dad this year? Let a contest do the work for you. The Georgetown men’s boutique Lost Boys (1033 31st St., NW; 202-333-0093) is giving away a drool-worthy prize package in honor of Father’s Day. From now through Saturday, June 12, all purchases put you in the running for the grand prize: a round at the Blue Mash Golf Course, $108 at the Columbia Room—Derek Brown’s ultra-private cocktail-experimentation suite at the Passenger—and two $100 gift certificates to Lost Boys.

Special Prix Fixe at Trummer’s on Main
Trummer’s on Main is serving a special three-course menu from 4 to 7. Options include jumbo-lump crabcake with pico de gallo, New York strip steak with pommes frites, roasted-chicken ravioli, and salted peanut-brittle ice cream. $59 per person; call 703-266-1623 for reservations.

Burgers, Beer, and H.O.G's at Westend Bistro
Treat Dad to a personalized downtown picnic at Eric Ripert's Westend Bistro.  The Ritz-Carlton restaurant offers a burger bar with twelve unique toppings, traditional picnic sides served family style, and unlimited buckets of beer and fully-customized Bloody Marys.  For dessert, the build-your-own sundae bar features three classic ice cream flavors and a bevy of fresh toppings.  $49 for adults, $24 for children twelve and under, including tax and gratuity.  1-4 PM, reservations are required. 

Farmers Market Fresh at Blue Duck Tavern
As part of the Park Hyatt’s Masters of Food & Wine Festival, the hotel’s restaurant, Blue Duck Tavern, is offering two specials. Bernie Prince, cofounder of FreshFarm Markets, is hosting a Harvest Breakfast at 9:30, which includes a tour of the Dupont Circle Farmers Market, where Blue Duck executive chef Brian McBride is putting on a cooking demonstration. Later that evening, McBride is cooking a four-course Taste of America dinner, which features local food and a wine flight. $50 per person for breakfast, $140 per person—including tax, gratuities, and wine—for dinner. Grilling Class at Acadiana
Don’t want to deal with the Sunday restaurant rush? From 1 to 3 on Saturday, June 19, Acadiana is offering a grilling class and meal for $75 per person. Learn to make grilled riccota salata, roasted pig, special sauces, and more, then chow down with unlimited beer and wine. Dinner Specials at the Fairmont
The Fairmont Hotel’s Juniper restaurant has two special dishes for Father’s Day weekend: strip steak with brandy-peppercorn sauce, and grilled bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin with blue-cheese mashed potatoes. Three Courses at Ici Urban Bistro
The Sofitel Lafayette Square hotel restaurant, Ici Urban Bistro, offers a French-inspired menu for Father’s Day. We think the marinated-calamari salad, grilled-monkfish-and-roasted-pepper skewers, and molten chocolate cake sound especially delicious. $45 for three courses. Call 202-730-8700 for reservations.
