DC

Brookville Market

Mr. Lee of Brookville Market will happily lead you to any items you’re looking for, and if it’s not there, he’s happy to order it.

Cooked brisket: Not Available.

Uncooked brisket: $6.49 per pound. Lean cut is available.

Wagshal’s 

Wagshal’s has been open for more than 80 years, and labels itself “DC’s premier delicatessen and gourmet market.”

Cooked brisket: $17.99 per pound.

Uncooked brisket: $9.99 per pound.

Maryland

Shaul’s Kosher Market

Shaul’s was founded more than 20 years ago to meet the needs of a growing Jewish community around Silver Spring.

Cooked brisket (with gravy): $19.99 per pound, but it must be ordered three days in advance.

Uncooked brisket: $11.99 per pound.

Virginia doesn’t have too many shops devoted solely to kosher cooking, but big names like Trader Joe’s and Wegmans have kosher departments that sell brisket. You can find a local store on their websites.
