Another day, another bracket rung complete. In a stunning turn of events, global doughnut juggernaut Krispy Kreme was narrowly defeated by Migue’s Magnificent Mini Donuts. Now it’s time to add a third victor to those vendors destined for round two.

Today we pit a bakery with locations in Manassas, Riverdale, and Hyattsville against a tiny 14th Street market that offers made-to-order doughnuts each Sunday until they sell out (usually around noonish). Filled with eggy cream, La Flor de Puebla’s sugar-and-sprinkle-coated bolas de Berlin are pretty great, but it’s hard to beat the cinnamon-sugar treats at Cork Market. The choice is yours—just be sure to vote before 5 PM, when the poll closes.
