Wing Wars: BonChon vs. Comet Ping Pong
Who has the best wings in Washington? You tell us. By Jessica Voelker

Bonchon is up against Comet Ping Pong in our first wing-off today.

Welcome to round one of Wing Wars! We selected 32 local chicken wing destinations and randomly drew numbers to create this March Madness–style bracket. Every day on the Best Bites Blog, we’ll ask you to vote for which bars and restaurants should move on to the sweet 16. We’ll be posting two bouts a day during round one, so check back for updates. Voting will close at midnight of the day the posts are published.

Hello there, chicken wing lovers. Some surprising results from yesterday’s wing-offs. Fuel Pizza annihilated the Big Hunt and will advance to the sweet 16, where it will go up against Cleveland Park Bar & Grill. The neighborhood sports bar beat out the Front Page by—get this—one vote. Just goes to show that every vote matters in this thing. Do your civic duty today by deciding whether the fried flappers at BonChon should make it into the next round; they’re up against those tasty jerked appendages at Comet Ping Pong. And check back later to vote in our second bout. See the full bracket here.
