Wing Wars: Dogfish Head Alehouse vs. J. Bell’s Famous Wings
Who has the best wings in Washington? You tell us. By Jessica Voelker
Comments () | Published March 12, 2012

Wings are a major attraction at Dogfish Head Alehouse and at J. Bell’s. But who makes them better?

Welcome to round one of Wing Wars! We selected 32 local chicken wing destinations and randomly drew numbers to create this March Madness–style bracket. Every day on the Best Bites Blog, we’ll ask you to vote for which bars and restaurants should move on to the sweet 16. We’ll be posting two bouts a day during round one, so check back for updates. Voting will close at midnight of the day the posts are published.

It’s time to decide whether the poultry at chainlet Dogfish Head Alehouse or those at J. Bell's Famous Wings will be advancing to round two. While you’re at it, cast your vote in this morning’s contest, and then help us break Friday’s tie between William Jeffrey’s Tavern and Wing Hub. For the latter, vote before 5 PM today. The polls for today’s bouts close as midnight.
