This is How You Throw a Hipster Wedding in DC

DC couples are a lot of things–they are preppy, they are formal, they are classic, they are elegant–but can they pull off hipster? This bohemian urban styled shoot from The Kama Photography that was put together by Claire Duran Weddings & Events has us shouting “Yes!” We love all of the dressed-down, creative ideas in this photo shoot at Adam Morgan’s Roofers Union, from the groom’s shawl collar cardigan to the flash tattoos and beer bottle place cards.

We love that craft beer bottles weren’t just served–they were used as decor in the welcome sign and as drinkable place cards. The wood beer caddies also double as tabletop decor.

Event stylists from Claire Duran Weddings & Events wove the blue color scheme throughout, using blue silk ribbon, peacock feathers, and the blue and teal tiered cake.
