Hey, recent brides, grooms, photographers, wedding planners, and vendors! We’re on the hunt for amazing real weddings to feature on our blog and in our magazine. Here’s how to submit your wedding to us.
Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with a few low-resolution photographs or a link to a blog post or photo slideshow of your wedding (shots of the couple and details like the flowers, food, invitations, and cake), and include your name and your spouse’s name, the date and location of your wedding, a few sentences describing the wedding, and your contact information. Also, be sure to mention your photographer’s name and contact information—and make sure you have permission from your photographer to submit images to us. Photographers, we are also on Two Bright Lights if you prefer to submit weddings to us that way.
Please note that we’ll only feature weddings that took place in the general Washington area. The geographical parameters are Annapolis/Eastern Shore to the north and Charlottesville to the south—any wedding that took place in between is fair game!
Since Washingtonian Bride & Groom comes out twice a year, we won’t be selecting weddings for the magazine until next spring. But we’re constantly on the hunt for real weddings (and engagement photos!) for our blog.
