Brides and grooms preparing for their marriage—and not just their wedding—can get pointers from relationship counselor Erin Morey when her “Prepare For a Lifetime” classes kick off at 1313 Vincent Place in McLean. The three-week course, which meets April 10, 17, and 24, includes workbooks and refreshments. Click here to make reservations, which are required. The class is $200 per couple. 9:30 to 11.

Prizes, drawings, and discounts are among the offerings at the Hunt Country Celebrations Bridal & Special Event Expo, held at West Belmont Place at the National Conference Center in Leesburg (18980 Upper Belmont Pl.). Vendors will be on hand from 10 to 2.

Foxchase Manor (8310 Chatsworth Dr., Manassas) hosts a free bridal open house on its grounds from noon to 3. Brides and grooms can tour the facility and meet with vendors in the manor’s showroom.

Get a taste of what New Age Caterers (1900 Campus Commons Dr., Reston) has to offer at the company’s Bridal Private Tasting. For $20 per person, guests can try reception fare from noon to 7. Only a few spots are still available; make your appointment here.

Rockledge Mansion (440 Mill St., Occoquan) hosts a bridal showcase from 1 to 3. The event features vendors, door prizes, discounts, and snacks from Georgetown Caterers. $7. RSVP online and receive $2 off your ticket.
